Russia Launches Massive Assault on Ukraine

According to UATV: On the night of July 6, Russia carried out a large-scale attack, deploying 419 aerial targets in an effort to overwhelm Ukraine's air defense systems. The primary targets were Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region. The assault raised the death toll to 11, with an additional 46 people injured.

According to Ukrainian military official Yuriy Ihnat,

“the goal was to exhaust and overload the air defense”

“we currently have virtually no means to shoot down ballistic missiles”
