According to Novyny.live: In the early hours of March 24, 2023, a Russian assault targeted the Poltava community, leaving two people dead and eleven others wounded. Civilian infrastructure suffered extensive damage, with initial reports of destruction arriving at 3:25 a.m. and casualty figures confirmed by 3:40 a.m. This attack is part of the ongoing war that has repeatedly struck residential areas across Ukraine.
The strike involved a combination of drones and various missile types, hitting residential buildings and a hotel. Fires broke out as a result, requiring an immediate response from emergency services. Local official Vitaliy Dyakivnych reported damage to housing and the hotel, as well as fires ignited after the assault.
