Norway to Allocate 7.4 Million Dollars to Aid Ukraine

The Norwegian government has decided to allocate 7.4 million dollars to increase funding for UNICEF programs in Ukraine. The allocated funds will be directed to assist Ukrainian children and their families affected by Russian aggression, reported the Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine.

Ukraine notes that Norway is the fifth largest partner of UNICEF in humanitarian aid for Ukrainian children. This collaboration allows for providing necessary support to children in various sectors.

It is worth mentioning that this decision becomes part of Norway's overall support for Ukraine. Recently, Norway announced the provision of almost 93 million dollars to strengthen Ukraine's air defense, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine in countering Russian attacks.

In addition to financial assistance, Norway also plans to transfer six F-16 fighters to Ukraine, indicating a comprehensive approach to supporting Ukraine in times of war.
