Ukraine intends not to cede land to Russian occupiers, and especially does not plan to 'trade' with them. Military analyst Oleksiy Hetman emphasizes that Donbas for the Kremlin is only a platform for future attacks. If Ukraine surrenders, the war will ignite again, and this time it will threaten not only Ukrainian territories but also other regions. According to the analyst, Russia will not stop its expansion, as this is the essence of its existence as an empire. If not intervened, it will seek new objects for aggression - whether it be the Baltic countries or even an attempt to invade Ukraine again. European partners note Russia's readiness to increase its military potential by 2030. Oleksiy Hetman is convinced that Russia needs to be contained while there is such an opportunity, otherwise a new war will only be a matter of time. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also warns that Russia may attack NATO member countries within the next five years as a way to test the strength of the Alliance.
