According to Novyny.live: The Ukraine Defense Contact Group, known as the 'Ramstein' format, will hold a meeting in Brussels on February 12. Ukraine's new Defense Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, will participate. The session is scheduled to begin at 4:45 PM Kyiv time. This forum is a primary mechanism for coordinating the delivery of military aid to Ukraine from over 50 nations.

Representatives from the United Kingdom and Germany will co-chair the meeting. Following the discussions, a press conference is planned with the participation of the defense ministers of Germany, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and the NATO Secretary General.

“Ukraine’s new Defense Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, will join NATO ministers, and we will discuss how allies can increase their support and make it more effective.”

Mark Rutte

The Ramstein meetings serve as a critical platform for coordinating international military assistance to Ukraine amid Russia's ongoing war of aggression. The participation of Ukraine's new defense minister signals the country's intent to deepen cooperation with partners to enhance the effectiveness of its defense efforts. The outcomes of this gathering could significantly influence the future course of the war and the strategy for international support to Ukraine.
