Odesa plans to expand the bike network by 30-40 kilometers.
In Odesa, bicycle routes are being expanded. According to the city council, there are currently 105.3 km of bike lanes and 32.2 km of bike paths in the city.
Cyclists can use two routes that connect the Kyivskyi and Prymorskyi districts:
- 1st route: from Yevhena Chykalenka Street (Ak. Williams) to Pyrohovska Street via Liustdorfska Road, Tribyn Heroes Square, Krasnova Street, Serednofontanska Square, Lesya Ukrainka Avenue, Kanatna Street, and Pyrohovska Street.
- 2nd route: from Dovga Street to Pyrohovska Street through Lvivska Street, Fontanska Road, Sehedska Street, Kanatna Street, and Pyrohovska Street.
Routes on the Health Track from the 16th station of Bolshyi Fontan to Morekhidna Street (8th station of Bolshyi Fontan) and from Arcadia to Lanzheron Beach are also available for cyclists.
Cyclists from the Peresyp district have the opportunity to reach Khadjibey via Knyaza Volodymyra Velykoho (Dobrvolskoho) Street or via 28th Brigade (Paustovskogo) Street, Semen Paliia and Pivdenna Road, as well as via Mykolaivska Road through the lane for public transport and Otamany Holovatoho Street.
The plans for KU "SMEP" also include expanding the bike network by 30-40 kilometers over the next year.
