The enemy attempted to infiltrate the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through gas pipes: an ambush led to significant losses.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian military destroyed a significant number of enemies who tried to infiltrate the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through gas communications.
New attempts by the enemy
According to information received from the military of the 77th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Petrovych on the air of the KYIV24 television channel, Ukrainian forces steadily eliminate enemies in their area of responsibility. Recently, the enemy attempted to make a covert breakthrough using the gas infrastructure in the area of Novoplatonivka.
"They found the gas communications — there is a gas distribution station — and tried to crawl into our rear through the pipe. Initially, a few individuals tried to scout the situation, and later a larger group followed," reported the military.
Ambush of Ukrainian soldiers
Our scouts detected unusual enemy activity, although visually it was not apparent. After discovering the exit from the pipe, Ukrainian defenders organized an ambush.
"When the enemy moved in with a large number of personnel, they were met with strong resistance. A lot of enemy personnel was destroyed in one day," summarized Viktor Petrovych.
These events indicate increased enemy activity in certain areas; however, the coordinated actions of the Ukrainian military demonstrate that our forces are ready to respond to any threats. Each such incident underscores the importance of reconnaissance and ensuring security in the rear, as even ordinary gas communications can become a channel for enemy attacks.
