Russians are attacking Pokrovsk around the clock: how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are stopping the invaders' advance.
The situation on the Pokrovsk front
The Russian occupiers are attacking Pokrovsk around the clock. They continue to use tactics for accumulating small groups. Moreover, the invaders are attempting to use drones to stop Ukrainian soldiers.
This is stated in the report
Institute for the Study of War(ISW).
Analysts reported that the Russian occupiers have recently advanced west of Novoekonomichne, as well as towards Zvirovo. Additionally, the invaders continue offensive actions near Pokrovsk.
The Ukrainian military drone battalion noted that the Russian army is attacking both day and night. According to the UAV crew commander, the occupiers continue to carry out repeated assaults under the command of infantry with heavy losses in manpower to attack the same positions.
'The Ukrainian brigade operating in the Pokrovsk direction reported that Ukrainian forces are using unmanned ground vehicles 'Hyena,' which can carry 26 kilograms of explosives, to attack Russian fortified positions or infantry in buildings', the report states.
Additionally, drone operators from the Russian Center for Advanced Drone Technologies 'Rubikon' are trying to strike at Ukrainian forces in Pokrovsk and Rodynske.
It should be noted that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has outlined his conditions for ending the war in Ukraine. In particular, he wants Ukraine to completely withdraw from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
On August 15, it became known that the Defense Forces of Ukraine had 'cleansed' Pokrovsk of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Events on the Pokrovsk frontline indicate an intensification of Russian occupiers in attempts to attack Ukrainian positions. Ukrainian military successfully repelled attacks and continue to protect the country's territory from armed threats.Read also
