Occupants are trying to break through the border in Sumy region: spokesman of the State Border Guard Service provided details.
At the border with Sumy region, attackers are trying to penetrate the territory of Ukraine and block the logistics routes of Ukrainian defenders. This was reported by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko. According to Demchenko, Ukrainian forces are inflicting significant losses on the enemy, which is actively operating at the border in the Kursk region and trying to penetrate the territory of Ukraine.
Demchenko also noted that Russian attacks on the Sumy region are not massive and do not have a large-scale nature. The enemy is trying to expand the zone of active hostilities within the Kursk region and enter the territory of Ukraine, but Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to prevent this from happening.
Earlier, there were reports of attempts by Russian troops to storm the border in the Sumy region, but there was no breakthrough.
