Occupants shelled Izyum: there are casualties.
Russian terrorists shelled Izyum
In the evening of April 16, the city of Izyum came under fire from Russian terrorists. This was reported by Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
According to him, the occupants opened fire on the city, resulting in casualties. Two adults - a 35-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman - were taken to the hospital. Additionally, a seven-year-old child was injured. A private house was also destroyed.
It is worth noting that Izyum was shelled by Russia back in February 2025. According to security services, the occupants launched a ballistic missile. This shelling resulted in 55 injuries, including three children, and five fatalities.
On the night of April 16, explosions also rang out in Odesa. Separatists allegedly launched a massive attack on the city using drones.
As a result of the attack, civilian infrastructure was damaged, including a residential building that caught fire.
Currently, all services are working to address the aftermath of the attack. Three people were injured in Odesa.
These shellings are an example of Russia's aggression in Ukraine and a confirmation of the need for further measures regarding the country's security and defense.
