Occupiers have started digging trenches in the Kursk region: satellite photos.
Russian military are digging trenches in the Kursk region. Against the backdrop of the advancement of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region, Russian invaders have started digging trenches in this direction. The closest trench to Ukraine is located 45 km from the border. This is reported by Osinttechnical.
According to satellite images, the closest trench to Ukraine that is being built is located near the village of Viktorivka, 45 km from the border. The farthest one is at the intersection of the Selikhovy Dvory-Ivanino and Dyakonovo-Sudzha highways near Kursk, 75 km from the border.
As analysts emphasize, «Russian troops are constructing a trench system that, if they retreat, will result in Ukraine losing a significant part of its territory».
Let us remind you, over the past day Ukrainian troops have advanced on the Kursk direction from 1 to 3 km. It also became known that the Ukrainian Air Force fighter jet for the first time struck at Russian positions in the Kursk region. The Ukrainian Su-27 attacked the Russian command post in the village of Tyotkino a few kilometers north of the front line.
As was reported, Ukraine was preparing an offensive on the Kursk region of Russia in extreme secrecy. Officers learned the details only three days before the start of the operation.
By the way, Russia started withdrawing part of its troops from the territory of Ukraine in response to the incursion of Ukrainian forces into the Kursk region. In particular, Western countries are gradually shedding their fear of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin due to the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, and the so-called «red lines» of the dictator no longer work.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed the destruction of a Su-34 and an ammunition depot during explosions at the Morozovsk airfield in the Russian Federation.
By the way, due to the US ban on using long-range weapons against Russia, Ukrainian soldiers were unable to use them, thus losing the chance to simultaneously destroy dozens of Russian Su-34 aircraft.
