Russia's terrorists attacked Ukraine using drones
On March 2 at night, groups of terrorists from Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using 79 Shahed-type drones and imitation drones of various types. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack took place in several areas, including Orlov, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
To repel the attack, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were used.
“As of 08:30, the downing of 63 Shahed-type drones and other types in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions was confirmed,” the message states.
As a result of the attack, Kharkiv region, Sumy region, Khmelnytskyi region, and Zaporizhzhia were affected.
It is noteworthy that the war has already lasted for 1103 days. Over the past day, there were 83 combat clashes. The Ukrainian military continues to respond effectively to enemy attacks and defend Ukraine's territory.
The opposing side carried out 2 missile strikes and 76 air strikes, used 2 missiles and 95 guided bombs, and also involved 987 kamikaze drones and conducted over 4000 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and settlements.
