According to Espreso.tv: The incident occurred as he was moving through a garrison area when an FPV drone struck his vehicle. According to reports, the wounds were not life-threatening. Oleh Tyahnybok, the leader of the All-Ukrainian Union 'Svoboda' party, volunteered for the Armed Forces at the start of the full-scale invasion. In 2023, he was appointed deputy battalion commander for moral and psychological support in the 128th Brigade. In 2025, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Following the attack, Timur Knysh commented on the situation, stating:
'Thank God this news turned out to be bitter but not tragic. He sustained a serious concussion with all the consequences—both barotrauma and a brain shake. But he is still alive, he survived, and medical aid was provided. We are now monitoring his health.' Timur Knysh
