A car drove into a crowd in France: one person dead, five injured.
According to The Sun: One person is dead and five are injured after a deliberate car crash into pedestrians near a wine bar.
According to a judge, the driver 'consciously reversed at high speed' into a crowd in the center of Évreux, Normandy, in northern France, late Saturday night into Sunday.

Incident details
A man in his thirties died at the scene; two other men aged 31 and 52 were urgently taken to hospital in critical condition.
Two other pedestrians, aged 34 and 58, were also hospitalized, but their condition is stable; a 50-year-old woman sustained minor injuries.
It is noted that the attack occurred after a conflict inside the La Winery wine bar La Winery on Winston Churchill street.
'Around four in the morning, a person likely got out of the car and consciously reversed at high speed into the crowd near the establishment,' said prosecutor Rémi Couten.
Authorities denied any terrorist or racist motive.
Arrested suspects
Three individuals were arrested: two were in the car, and a third was left on the street, according to court information.
Mayor Lefran reported that 'there was a fight that caused the crowd to start moving, after which the car collided with several people.'
'The situation has already returned to a calm state. An investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy,' he added.
Lefran also emphasized: 'I want to express my deepest condolences and solidarity with the victims, their families, and loved ones. I am grateful to the police and the emergency services who responded promptly, ensuring safety at the scene and helping the victims.'
The owner of the wine bar closed the establishment earlier due to a fight that occurred between several people, according to prosecutors.
Approximately a hundred people went out onto the street, and it was then that the car drove into them.
Many witnesses
The police are conducting an investigation into the murder and attempted murder.
A local resident reported that the screams woke him up.
'From the window, I saw the car driving down the street connecting Rue d'Hardencourt with Avenue Winston Churchill. It was going fast. When it reached the bar, a woman came out, she was arguing with some people. Then a man got out of the car, and a few minutes later the car drove into the crowd,' he recounted.
The witness also reported that he called the police and was shocked by the 'very violent scene.'
Mayor Lefran added that the bar was supposed to close at 1 am, although La Winery's Facebook page indicated that it was open until 4 am from Thursday to Saturday.

The incident shocked local residents and drew attention to the need for improved safety on the streets, especially in areas with large gatherings of people. The investigation continues, and local authorities promise to take measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
