UN Opens Registration for Frontline Community Aid, Offering Up to 10,800 UAH per Family.
Support Program Registration Opens for Krolevech Community Residents
According to Novyny.live: The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has announced the launch of a registration process for a new support program aimed at residents of the frontline Krolevech community in Sumy Oblast. This initiative is part of broader international efforts to assist civilians affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Registration begins on January 28, 2025, with the program offering financial aid of up to 10,800 hryvnias per eligible household.
Under this scheme, assistance will be provided at a rate of 3,600 hryvnias for each individual within a family, with a maximum family payout capped at 10,800 hryvnias. The payments are available to internally displaced persons who left high-risk areas within the preceding six months, as well as to refugees who were forced to flee the country due to the war after February 24, 2022.
Eligibility Criteria for Financial Assistance
To qualify for this financial aid, applicants must not have received support from other humanitarian funds in the last three months. Additionally, the per capita income within the household must not exceed 6,300 hryvnias. Registration will be conducted in person at the local cultural center, located at 2 Myru Street, between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
This program is designed to support populations facing severe hardship due to military conflict and to help stabilize living conditions in the region.
The implementation of this support program in the Krolevech community represents a critical step in providing aid to those impacted by hostilities. Financial support can significantly alleviate the burden for families struggling under difficult economic circumstances. The registration process and eligibility requirements are tailored to address the needs of the most vulnerable groups, highlighting the concerted efforts of international organizations to support Ukrainians during the ongoing conflict.
