The heating season is ending: The Pension Fund urgently appealed to subsidy recipients.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine informs that subsidy recipients for utility services need to know several important points at the end of the heating season.

After the end of the heating season in April, starting from May 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will determine citizens' eligibility for housing subsidies for the next period, which will last until April 30, 2026. Most current subsidy recipients will be automatically reappointed if there have been no changes in their property status, family composition, and absence of utility payment arrears.

However, some categories of citizens will need to submit a new application for receiving subsidies for the next period. They must provide a complete set of documents or a simplified application, depending on their situation.

Note that subsidy recipients are obliged to inform about changes in the composition of the household or the property status of its members within 30 days.

Some criteria have also been given for assigning subsidies to certain categories of citizens. Documents for receiving subsidies can be submitted in various ways, including through the chosen service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, by mail, or online on the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal.

In Ukraine, a check on subsidy recipients will be conducted.
