The main newsmaker of enemy propaganda. The Commander of the Air Force responded to Bezugla.
The Commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, reported that the leadership received a report on the F-16 aircraft crash and that partners from the United States joined the investigation into the cause of the incident. He responded to Member of Parliament Maryana Bezugla, who claimed that the incident with the aircraft was being concealed. Oleshchuk stated that information about such incidents cannot immediately enter the public domain and be detailed for the media. In addition, he emphasized that Bezugla discredited American weapon manufacturers, as well as Ukraine's main ally - the United States. The Air Force Commander urged the Member of Parliament to apologize to the entire army for the damage caused.
In turn, Maryana Bezugla stated about "friendly fire" from the Ukrainian F-16 and noted that most of the aircraft were destroyed by the Russians. It was also reported that one of the F-16 fighters crashed, as earlier reported by The Wall Street Journal. The Air Force Commander confirmed this loss. It was also reported about the death of pilot Oleksiy Mesia, who shot down three enemy missiles and a drone during Russia's attack. Previous news mentioned the delivery of ten F-16 fighters to Ukraine from the United States.
