The Patrol Police of Kyiv continues the information campaign regarding traffic rules for drivers in Kyiv. Today, law enforcement drew attention to traffic sign 3.42 'End of all prohibitions and restrictions', which often leads to misunderstandings among drivers.
According to the police, this sign simultaneously cancels all prohibitions and restrictions that were established against traffic rules.
'Sign 3.42 is universal and terminates all restrictions on a specific section of the road. Drivers must be attentive, as after this sign they are allowed to move in the usual mode, observing general traffic rules,' explained the patrol police.
It talks about the prohibition of movement without maintaining distance, the prohibition of overtaking, the limitation of maximum speed, the prohibition of sounding the horn, the prohibition of stopping and parking.
The sign also removes such prohibitions as speed limits, the prohibition of overtaking by freight cars, the prohibition of stopping and parking, including the prohibition of parking on even and odd days of the month, as well as other restrictions indicated in the relevant signs.
The Patrol Police of Kyiv calls on drivers to be attentive on the road and to observe the requirements of road signs; this will help avoid accidents and make road traffic safer for all participants.
