Google Educational Grant: which Ukrainian universities will receive funding for cybersecurity development.
The 'Cybersecurity Seminars' program from Google.org has expanded its support to universities in the Middle East and Africa. Among the recipients of support are Drohobych State Pedagogical University and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The demand for cybersecurity specialists is high, so the program provides an opportunity to gain education and practical experience in this field.
The number of cyberattacks is rapidly increasing, but Europe lacks cybersecurity specialists. This is why Google announced the launch of the 'Cybersecurity Seminars' program and allocated 15 million dollars for this purpose. Universities are given the opportunity to adapt their curricula and participate in internships and hackathons.
The non-profit organization Virtual Routes is collaborating with leading European company Possible Digital to help universities implement cybersecurity training according to their needs. Furthermore, the program aims to protect over 3,500 organizations from cyberattacks in various countries.
The 'Cybersecurity Seminars' program assists universities in enhancing their cybersecurity levels and preparing a new generation of specialists in this field.
