Vegetable prices continue to rise: how the prices of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers changed in March.
Prices for some popular vegetables in Ukraine continue to rise, reports the Minfin portal.
Many people are starting to wonder if they can afford to buy fresh vegetables due to rising prices.
According to data for March 2025, prices for cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers have significantly increased.
The price of cucumbers has risen and now stands at 129.90 UAH per kilogram. However, smooth cucumbers have decreased in price and cost 136.95 UAH per kilogram.
Red and pink tomatoes have also become more expensive and are priced on average from 115.67 UAH to 169.50 UAH per kilogram respectively.
Prices for bell peppers remain high; for example, yellow peppers average 243.27 UAH per kilogram.
Earlier, there were reports of rising prices for cigarettes in Ukraine.
