City Hall and Police Car Park Burned: GUR Conducted Operation in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Russia.

In the city of Megion (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Russia), a fire occurred in the building of the local administration and police car park. This was reported by a source in military intelligence.

«On October 28, 2024, as a result of a successful operation by the GUR MO of Ukraine in the city of Megion of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the building of the local administration burned down. Through the three broken windows on the first floor of the city hall, napalm was poured and set on fire, after which a call was received on the FSB hotline with a message about the building's bombing», – stated the source. 

The interlocutor noted that while checking for explosives in the building was underway, firefighters were waiting for permission to extinguish the fire. 

«The fire quickly spread and destroyed the clerical department, the deputy mayor's office, and several other rooms. During the firefighting in the city hall, napalm spilled onto the local police cars in the parking lot», – reported the GUR.

According to a source in military intelligence, at least five police cars were destroyed by the fire.

On October 28, the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the resistance movement destroyed a railway bridge in temporarily occupied Berdyansk, which was used for transporting military cargo. According to the source, this completely paralyzed rail communications with Berdyansk.

Also, on October 2 in Berdyansk, the car of judge Vitaliy Lomeiko, who was considered a traitor, was blown up.
