Pope Francis will have to relearn how to speak after a long pneumonia.
Cardinal's statement on Pope Francis's health
Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez reported that Pope Francis's health will remain the same as before hospitalization after treatment for the illness. However, the pontiff is forced to relearn how to speak due to oxygen therapy.
The cardinal did not confirm the possibility of Pope Francis's resignation and noted that he now aims to fully dedicate his remaining time to serving others.
Regarding Pope Francis's return to duties before Easter, there is still no clear answer. Doctors may not allow him to leave the hospital until April 20, as they want to be sure of his full recovery.
