Fivefold Growth. Intelligence Reports How Many 'Shaheds' Russia Produces Monthly.
Russia is actively producing over 5,000 drones per month, as reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate. Half of them are genuine 'Shaheds', while the rest are imitations. According to Forbes Ukraine, this level of drone production is very significant.
By the end of May this year, Russia was producing nearly 2,700 long-range drones 'Shahed-136/Geranium-2' and another 2,500 imitators of strike drones 'Gerbera' each month. This is five times more than in 2024.
Recall that Russia has begun using a new drone with artificial intelligence. The Main Intelligence Directorate has revealed data on the design, electronic base, and supply sources of the new Russian strike drone V2U with artificial intelligence, which is actively being used by Russia in the Sumy direction.
It is worth noting that Russia's use of drones is not limited to reconnaissance but also includes combat operations. Such a large production volume indicates the country's serious intentions in this direction.
Russia is actively improving its drone technology and increasing production volumes, which indicates the growing importance of drones in its military strategy. These drones are used not only for reconnaissance but also for participation in combat operations, reflecting Russia's growing military potential.
