Pensions for Civil Servants in 2025: Who Will Receive Payments and What Are the Conditions.
Ukrainian civil servants can accrue pension under special conditions. They have a slightly increased amount of payments compared to other citizens. The norms of pension provision for this category of citizens are established for 2025 by generally recognized laws.
According to the information from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, pensions for civil servants are appointed considering their work experience and age. There are clear requirements for the duration of work in civil service positions necessary to receive a pension.
Pension Provision Rules for Civil Servants in 2025
According to the current legislation, individuals with 10 years of service in civil service positions, or 20 years without the need to occupy a position as of May 1, 2016, may receive a pension. There are also special categories that can receive an age pension without additional conditions.
Size of Pension and Appointment Conditions
Pensions for civil servants are calculated from the moment of application submission, but not earlier than they acquire the right to a pension. Its size is 60% of the salary, taking into account participation in state social insurance. The Pension Fund also offers the possibility to submit documents for pension receipt online via the e-services portal.
For citizens without sufficient experience, there are various options for receiving pensions, as well as special conditions for agricultural workers who have worked in this field.
