Pension Donations: PFU responded, what should the amount be.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine disclosed the details regarding the size of a charitable pension donation.
The press service of the PFU reported that many Ukrainians are looking for ways to help relatives secure a decent pension. One of these ways is charitable pension donations. These are voluntary contributions that a person can make in favor of another person to improve their financial condition in retirement.
It is important to note that such donations can be especially useful for those who want to support parents, relatives, or friends who may not have saved enough funds for living in retirement. Many people ask about the size of the charitable donation.
"Can I make a charitable pension donation less than the minimum wage?", Ukrainians ask.
The PFU explained that the size of the charitable pension donation is determined by the donor. It can be any amount a person wants to donate to charity.
It should be taken into account that 70% of the donation goes directly to the pensioner for whom it was assigned by the donor, and 30% of the amount goes to the Pension Fund and is used for the payment of pensions, according to the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance".
