Pensioners will receive a new supplement in December: who may be denied.
Ukrainian pensioners will receive additional support from the state in December. According to the Youtube channel Znai.ua, the Pension Fund has established a supplement of 944 hryvnias, which is 40% of the minimum living wage. Some groups of pensioners are entitled to this: those who are alone and require care, people over 80 years old, and pension recipients by age. To receive support, one must personally contact the Pension Fund with the necessary documents.
Experts note that the requirements for receiving the supplement are strict, and many pensioners may be denied payment. Additionally, in December, Ukrainians will also receive a 'thousand from the president' through the eSupport program.
It is better to give this money to those who really need it - the military, pensioners, internally displaced persons. And not a thousand each, but five, ten, or twenty thousand.
Changes will also affect the process of reserving workers. Starting from December 1, all reservations will be processed through the 'Diia' application, stated Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. This may lead to a review of existing reservations due to strengthened control and new criteria.
There is also an expected increase in fare prices in public transport. In the city of Odesa, the cost of a trip on marshrutkas will rise to 20 hryvnias, similar changes are anticipated in other cities of Ukraine. An increase in utility tariffs is also possible at the end of spring or at the beginning of summer, analysts warn.
