Zelensky revealed details of the meeting with Trump: what the leaders will talk about.

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, outlined the main issues he plans to discuss during the meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Key topics of negotiation

Zelensky noted that security issues are the main focus of the upcoming negotiations. Kyiv insists that any agreement must include safeguards against a possible repeat attack by Russia.

"Security guarantees are very important to me. We want them to be absolutely clear. And it is important when we can have them," the president emphasized.

The President of Ukraine stressed that this position was discussed with European partners. Ukraine's main requirement is to synchronize peace and security processes.

"Security guarantees should be simultaneous with questions of ending the war. Because we must be guaranteed that Russia will not start aggression again," Zelensky explained.

Economic issues

Zelensky also noted that the parties will discuss specific timelines for implementing planned steps in detail. No less important aspect of the negotiations will be the economic block. He remarked that despite the existing frozen Russian assets, these funds are insufficient for the full restoration of destroyed infrastructure.

"I think we will pay a lot of attention to the economy because there is money now in Russian assets. And that is not enough to restore Ukraine. It's a large sum, but it's still not enough," the head of state stated.

The president also mentioned the need to discuss a number of sensitive issues that require direct dialogue with the American leader.

"Well, and we will discuss various sensitive moments with the President of the United States. I think that as the conversation goes, I think it should be normal," Zelensky noted.

He also did not rule out that after the conversation with Trump, the Ukrainian side would hold additional consultations with European leaders to coordinate joint actions.

Meeting with Trump

It is worth noting that Zelensky will meet with Trump. The main topics will be security guarantees and increasing pressure on the Kremlin if it refuses a constructive plan to end the war.

Zelensky also reported that he recently had a conversation with representatives of the US president, during which they discussed "some significant details of work." Members of the Ukrainian delegation who participated in the negotiations in Miami were also present.

Negotiations between Ukraine and the US are of great importance not only for the development of bilateral relations but also for shaping the strategic security architecture in the region. The meeting with Trump could become a decisive stage in achieving stability and peace in Ukraine.
