The Ministry of Defense launched a digital defender's certificate in the Army+ app: how it will work.
According to ТСН: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented an important update to the mobile application for military personnel "Army+". One of the most significant innovations was the implementation of a digital analogue of the defender's certificate, which significantly simplifies the identification process.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense noted that the updated Army ID section has transformed from a simple code into a full-fledged digital profile of a serviceman.
Updates and functionality
The app generates an individual QR code that contains encrypted photomaterials and basic information about the soldier. This allows quick verification of identity during inspections, including at checkpoints or during communication with representatives of the Military Law Enforcement Service and TCK.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the electronic certificate does not cancel paper documents, but only complements them, making the identification process faster and more convenient.
The media platform "Pulse"
Another important news is the launch of the media platform "Pulse", which serves as an interactive information hub for military personnel. Here, you can find explanations regarding the accrual of monetary payments and allowances, instructions for applying for regular and additional leaves, as well as practical recommendations based on real service experience.
"Pulse" effectively acts as a personal legal and information assistant for defenders.
Users and trust in digital solutions
According to official data, more than 1 million military personnel already use the "Army+" ecosystem. This confirms the high level of trust in digital solutions and their real benefits for the army.
Recall that it was previously reported about the possibility of receiving alerts about the dispatch of a summons in "Reserve+".
These updates indicate Ukraine's gradual progress in implementing modern technologies in the army. Digitalization makes the lives of servicemen more comfortable and also reduces bureaucratic barriers. Such initiatives are an important element of modernizing the Ukrainian armed forces, meeting contemporary demands.
