PFC will recalculate subsidies for the heating season: the reason.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine is preparing for the recalculation of housing subsidies for the next heating season 2024-2025. Changes were made after the adoption of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 28, 2025, No. 222 'On amendments to some resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on issues of granting subsidies'. This information was announced on the Government portal.
According to the new rules, changes have been made to the Regulation on the procedure for assigning housing subsidies dated October 21, 1995. The recalculation will be carried out if service providers submitted the necessary information for assigning subsidies late and did not comply with the established 5-day deadline. This data was not taken into account when assigning subsidies since October 2024.
'These changes will allow taking into account the amounts of housing subsidies for all citizens entitled to them, regardless of administrative delays on the part of service providers,' the PFC press service said in a statement.
Earlier, the Pension Fund of Ukraine also made changes to the rules for compensating displaced persons receiving assistance. More details can be found in another news item.
