Pension Fund Refused Without Explanation: How to Protect the Right to a Fair Pension.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified the rules for excluding periods of service for the appointment of an disability pension. According to their information, no more than 10% of the service can be excluded, as well as periods of quarantine and martial law. There is also the possibility of additional exclusion of privileged periods regardless of the length of service. It is important to remember that the size of the pension depends on the disability group, and its maximization is possible by avoiding months with the lowest salaries.
According to experts, it is important to choose the considered period for calculating service if it is necessary to maximize the amount of the disability pension. Additionally, according to lawyer Yuriy Ayvazyan, periods of quarantine and martial law can be excluded, which is an important aspect in determining the mentioned payment.
