The former V. I. Zaremba music school building burnt down in Khmelnytskyi
On the night of November 10, a large fire occurred in the building of the former V. I. Zaremba music school in Khmelnytskyi. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Khmelnytskyi region.
The fire occurred on Proskurivska Street. The fire engulfed the second floor and the roof of the building, with the fire area covering 1000 square meters. It took about two hours to extinguish the fire.
The former music school building named after V. I. Zaremba had historical significance and was included in the list of cultural heritage monuments. However, several years ago it was sold at auction. The fire occurred a few days before a court hearing regarding the exclusion of the building from the list of cultural heritage monuments.
Currently, the police are conducting an investigation, which includes examining the scene, reviewing video footage from surveillance cameras, and conducting material examinations. There is no exact information yet regarding the cause of the fire and the individuals responsible for it.
