Russian attacks on Ukraine increase after Trump's inauguration

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory are becoming more extensive after Donald Trump's inauguration.

Experts believe that Russia may take advantage of the pause in U.S. military aid to increase the frequency of strikes. A temporary halt in supplies could lead to a conservation of Patriot missile systems, complicating defense against Russian aerial attacks.

The report also notes that Russian troops continue to advance in certain directions, trying to gain an advantage on the battlefield.

Experts warn that a delay in military assistance from the U.S. could negatively affect Ukraine's defense capabilities. Further decisions by the Trump administration and Congress regarding support for Kyiv will be crucial.

It should be noted that the U.S. has temporarily suspended military assistance to Ukraine, including missiles for air defense and ammunition.

The Director of the CIA and other senior officials from the U.S. will travel to Riyadh to meet with the Ukrainian delegation.
