Starting from November 18, power outages are planned in Ukraine. Part of Odesa will remain without electricity until midnight.

Regarding schools in the Odesa region, there will be days off on November 18 and 19.

According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of the shelling in Odesa, fires broke out in three private houses, and four houses were damaged. There is one injured teenager. A lost dog was found and returned to its owners by rescuers.

Also, during the Russian attack on Odesa region, two energy workers were killed.

Relatively mild consequences for energy infrastructure

Despite the attempts of Kremlin dictator Volodymyr Putin to plunge Ukraine into darkness, the night and morning passed relatively calmly for the energy infrastructure. However, some regions, including Odesa, Lviv, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Volyn, suffered partial damage.

It should be noted that in the morning of November 17, Russian occupation troops carried out a large-scale shelling, firing about 120 missiles and 90 drones. According to President Zelensky, air defense forces destroyed over 140 aerial targets. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, reported that Russian terrorists are shelling energy system facilities throughout the country, hence emergency power outages are being carried out.
