The USA and Germany are developing a peace plan for Ukraine: what is known.
According to ТСН: A plan aimed at restoring peace in Ukraine is being developed jointly with the USA and is currently under discussion in government circles. Its final approval is expected to take place no earlier than spring.
The Kyiv negotiations regarding EU accession are just a part of the agenda that President Volodymyr Zelensky brought with him during his visit to Berlin. Other important issues, such as weapons supply, financing, and the peace plan for Ukraine, are also being discussed.
According to government representatives, the plan developed in cooperation with the American side is already at a 'very advanced stage'; however, its final approval will not occur before spring. It is noted that the German and American governments have agreed to jointly support its development.
An agreement has been reached that the USA and Germany will take on the role of guarantors. However, there are currently no signs that this plan will be perceived by the Kremlin as realistic or attractive. It is important that the plan is being created with the involvement of the Ukrainian side, to avoid its perception as a 'dictate of Western countries'. It is expected that the main provisions of the plan will be presented to Zelensky in the coming days.
Germany is temporarily providing military assistance, while the dialogue between the USA and Ukraine in Berlin remains clear and understandable. In the American and Ukrainian delegations, despite the presence of German diplomats, negotiations continue regarding the strategy for ending the war.
It will soon become clear what progress has been made. The German government will likely play a tactical role, supplying weapons and financing, while the USA remains a strategic partner for Kyiv.
As a reminder, we previously reported that the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergei Ryabkov, confirmed Moscow's readiness to conclude a peace agreement but put forward new ultimatum demands.
Thus, Ukraine is forced to actively work on several fronts: simultaneously conducting negotiations with Western partners, receiving new equipment, and ensuring internal stability. This indicates that the country is in a dynamic search for pathways to peace, and the further actions of key players could significantly affect the situation in the region.
