The Main Investigation Department of the National Police, together with the Office of the Prosecutor General, is conducting a criminal proceeding against the president of the Zhytomyr club 'Polissya', Hennadiy Butkevych. According to the Unified State Register of Judicial Decisions, issues of fraud and embezzlement of funds in the amount of over 220 thousand dollars are being considered.
The rulings of the Pechersk Court refer to facts of deception and abuse of trust revealed during the pre-trial investigation. One of the persons involved in the case is the former vice president of the club, Volodymyr Teslia, who was seized during a search along with property, including a phone with his last name on the case.
Earlier, the club also terminated cooperation with the chief scout and a manager. However, from the materials of the court proceedings, it is unclear whether they have a direct connection to this criminal proceeding. It should be noted that there have been previous scandalous cases in the club's history related to the figures in the case.
The investigation regarding the president of the club 'Polissya', Hennadiy Butkevych, continues, and information about charges and figures in the case is constantly being updated. Previous scandals in the club's history may indicate systemic problems that require detailed consideration and regulation.
