Ukrainians remember daily all who perished in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we especially honor the memory of Senior Lieutenant Vasyl Dragomiretskyi.
Vasyl was born on May 8, 1994, in the village of Bodnariv in the Kalush district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. He received higher education at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. He was an active athlete and served as a defender of Ukraine, highlighting his dedication and courage in the police.
He died in 2022 during a shelling in Zaporizhzhia, after which he was buried in his native village. Vasyl received posthumous awards and recognition from the government, cities, and police for his bravery and dedication.
The memory of Vasyl will always live in the hearts of his loved ones and comrades as that of a loyal friend and a strong person who was always an example of resilience and courage.
May his feat and sacrifice never be forgotten!
Today, we honor the memory of Senior Lieutenant Vasyl Dragomiretskyi, who gave his life for his country, showing true courage and dedication. His feat will always remain in the hearts of those who knew and respected him, reminding everyone of the importance of memory and heroism in our lives.
