Poland warns citizens about the dangers of staying in Russia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland is urging its citizens to refrain from visiting Russia, especially those who hold dual passports - Polish and Russian. This was reported on the MFA Poland's page on X.
The reason for this warning is the official recognition of Poland as an enemy state by the Russian authorities and the war in Ukraine. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland emphasized that being on the territory of Russia poses a serious threat to the safety of citizens.
'Do not travel to Russia. Citizens of the Republic of Poland, who also hold Russian citizenship, are considered solely citizens of the Russian Federation under Russian law', the Polish authorities urge.
Diplomats also warned that evacuation conditions from Russia could be complicated or even impossible due to the lack of direct flights, limited exit routes, and other problems. The Minister of Defense of Poland warned of a possible 'turning point for global security' as early as 2027. In addition, Ukrainians were given advice on where to quickly obtain a Residence Card in Poland.
