Over 1700 servicemen are returning to their units: how to take advantage of the amnesty.
According to inkorr.com: In the last two weeks, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of servicemen wishing to return from the Joint Defense Forces.
Olexiy Sukachov, director of the State Bureau of Investigation, reported that over 1,700 servicemen have either returned to their units or are in the process of returning.
'Servicemen still have a few days to resolve this issue. They can return to their unit without punishment until August 30 under a simplified procedure,' he emphasized.
The SBI also reminds that the period for voluntary return of servicemen has been extended until August 30, 2025, allowing them to avoid criminal liability.
'Returning to the army is not only a chance to correct past mistakes but also a manifestation of responsibility to neighbors, family, and Ukraine. Every defender today is important for the country, and our victory depends on unity and readiness to fulfill duties,' noted the director of the SBI.
