The Russian Federation launched 55 drones at Ukraine: air defense destroyed 46 targets.

Last night, on August 22, the RF army struck the territory of Ukraine using 55 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of imitation drones. This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The drones were launched from different directions, including from the territory of Russia and occupied Crimea.

“According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense has shot down/suppressed 46 enemy Shahed-type drones and various types of imitation drones in the northern and eastern parts of the country,” the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Nine strike drones were recorded hit in four different locations.

It is reminded that last night, on August 22, Russian troops attacked Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region, striking a non-operational industrial enterprise.
