Employment of People with Disabilities. The Minister of Social Policy Highlighted the Problem.

Ukraine is facing challenges in the employment of people with disabilities. According to Oksana Zholnovich, the Minister of Social Policy, only 16% of them are able to work due to unfavorable conditions. The government is already working on implementing new services, including care for lonely individuals.
The government unconditionally pays 2-3 thousand UAH every month to all internally displaced persons
Internally displaced persons who were forced to leave their homes are entitled to financial assistance from the state. This was stated by Oksana Zholnovich. It was previously reported that resettlers whose income per person exceeds the minimum subsistence level will lose support. Members of parliament also reported that many resettlers have already been left without payments.
The Ministry of Social Policy has developed a draft law on the introduction of a professional cumulative pension system, which could come into effect in 2026. In addition, a draft law on the implementation of a new social insurance system called ePotential has been developed. This system is intended to facilitate more effective assistance to those suffering from injuries or health impairments and to ensure their full recovery.
