PrivatBank Offers Business Grants Up to 15,000 UAH for Generators and Fuel.
Financial Aid for Small Businesses from PrivatBank
According to Novyny.live: In response to widespread power outages, PrivatBank is administering a state-backed grant program for small businesses. This initiative provides compensation of up to 15,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH) to help entrepreneurs secure a reliable power supply and maintain operations.
Eligible clients can receive this financial support to cover expenses related to energy independence. The funds are designated for specific uses, including:
- Purchasing or repairing generators;
- Buying fuel;
- Paying for electricity.
To apply for the grant, businesses must submit an online application via the government's 'Diia' portal.
Additional Business Support Measures
Furthermore, PrivatBank has introduced a fee-free cash withdrawal service for owners of its Visa and Mastercard business cards. Until the end of winter, they can withdraw cash at over 200,000 retail points across Ukraine without commission. The maximum withdrawal amount per transaction is 6,000 UAH, with a daily limit of three combined cash withdrawal and purchase operations.
“We joined this support program so that entrepreneurs can feel more confident this winter,” stated a representative from PrivatBank.
These measures represent a significant step in supporting small businesses that continue to operate under challenging conditions. This support is crucial for many Ukrainian businesses that have faced severe disruption due to the ongoing energy crisis, helping them adapt and preserve jobs.
PrivatBank's initiative is a vital component of broader efforts to help small enterprises adapt, ensure energy independence, and sustain their activities. Such programs are critically important for business survival amid current difficulties, ultimately contributing to economic stability.
