PrivatBank Reduces International Transfer Fees

According to Novyny.live: PrivatBank has lowered its fees for international money transfers, with the new rates effective until the end of March 2026. This move is a significant step aimed at easing the cost of cross-border financial transactions for the bank's customers. For many Ukrainians, such transfers are a vital lifeline for supporting family or conducting business abroad.

Under the revised terms, the commission for sending money from a foreign Mastercard to a PrivatBank Mastercard is now 1%, down from 1.5%. The fee for transfers from a PrivatBank foreign currency Mastercard to an overseas Mastercard has also been reduced to 1% from 2%, with a minimum commission of 50 UAH.

Key Details for International Transfers

Customers should note the following important conditions:

  • The minimum transfer amount is the equivalent of 10 US dollars;
  • The maximum transfer amount cannot exceed the equivalent of 29.9 thousand UAH;
  • The total monthly limit for transfers to foreign Mastercards is the equivalent of 100 thousand UAH.

These tariff changes could significantly impact the financial operations of Ukrainians who rely on international transfers. The reduced fees have recently taken effect and will remain in place until March 2026, offering PrivatBank clients a more cost-effective way to send money abroad for an extended period.

This reduction in international transfer fees by PrivatBank is likely a response to competitive pressures within Ukraine's financial sector, where customers increasingly seek favorable terms. This decision is expected to boost transfer volumes, potentially benefiting the financial well-being of the bank's clients and contributing positively to the development of Ukraine's banking sector.
