According to Novyny.live: On May 30, Ukraine will experience overcast skies accompanied by brief rain showers, thunderstorms, and strong gusts of wind. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, which issued this forecast, indicates that winds will come from the northwest at speeds of 5–10 m/s, with gusts in the southwestern regions potentially reaching 15–20 m/s.
Temperature Outlook
Overnight temperatures across Ukraine are expected to range from +4 to +9 °C, while daytime highs will fall between +11 and +16 °C. In the western regions, nighttime temperatures will be slightly warmer at +8 to +13 °C, and daytime readings will climb to +17 to +22 °C. The warmest conditions are forecast for Transcarpathia, where daytime temperatures could hit +24 °C; overnight lows there will also be comfortable, ranging from +8 to +13 °C.
Despite the brief rain, forecaster Natalka Didenko notes that 'cool and unstable weather with rain will persist in Ukraine through the end of May.'
However, meteorologists also predict that 'a noticeable warming trend is expected in June.' As a result, residents of Ukraine can anticipate a shift in weather conditions in the coming days.
This forecast highlights the typical springtime instability of Ukraine’s weather, where temperatures and precipitation can fluctuate significantly over short periods. In particular, the potential for warmer weather in June may be crucial for farmers and other weather-dependent sectors, as it could influence the planning of seasonal work and activities.
