The SBU uncovered 12 accomplices of Medvedchuk: how they worked for the FSB.
The Security Service of Ukraine unveiled a group of individuals who worked for pro-Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk and carried out anti-Ukrainian activities on behalf of Russia. These individuals participated in the activities of the organization 'Second Ukraine' and promoted Kremlin interests.
This was reported by the SBU press service on August 14 via Telegram.
It was revealed that Medvedchuk personally oversaw this group, funding their activities through cooperation with Russian governmental structures. Some of his subordinates have already hidden in Russia, but they have been charged under Ukraine's criminal code.
Names of Medvedchuk's accomplices
According to the materials of the case, among the criminals are Denys Zharkykh, Artem Marchevskyi, Roman Kovalenko, and others. The SBU has included testimonies from former 'political expert' Kyrylo Molchanov, who collaborates with the investigation.
The agency emphasized that the investigation was conducted quite successfully, and enough evidence has been gathered to demonstrate the responsibility of Medvedchuk and his associates in carrying out anti-Ukrainian actions.
