Ukraine's 'Invincibility Points' to Be Listed in Diia App for Rapid Access to Shelter.
Invincibility Points to Be Integrated into Diia App
According to Novyny.live: Oleksii Kuleba, the Minister for Communities and Territories Development, has announced that the Ukrainian government is systematically working to make its network of 'Invincibility Points' accessible through the state's Diia app. This initiative is designed to provide citizens with comfortable facilities, particularly during cold weather, offering crucial access to warmth, electricity, and communication. This move is part of a broader government effort to support civilians amid ongoing infrastructure challenges.
In a Telegram post on January 18, the minister stated that an audit of all existing Invincibility Points is currently underway. This will allow for the rapid updating and verification of their information within the app.
"We are constantly updating and verifying all Invincibility Points and compiling them in the Diia app,"Kuleba noted, emphasizing the goal of simplifying access to this vital information for people across different cities and communities.
Providing Essential Heat and Resources
The minister stressed a key objective:
"Our task is to ensure that people in every city and community know exactly where to go for heat, light, and connection, and can find this information in just a few clicks within seconds."It is important to note that Ukraine has already established 97 core Invincibility Points at railway stations. Furthermore, the country is set to receive a shipment of heating equipment from Italy, which will create additional capacity for providing warmth.
Through these state initiatives, Ukrainians will be able to quickly locate essential resources during difficult times, representing a significant step in supporting the population through the winter period.
This effort forms part of the wider Ukrainian government strategy to improve living conditions for citizens during the energy crisis. By providing access to Invincibility Points via the widely-used Diia app, the government aims to reduce the stress and uncertainty faced by the population, especially in winter. The real-time updating of information about these shelters is also intended to ensure their effectiveness and accessibility for all who need them.
