Strike on Yavova

The gliding bomb strike occurred in Yavova village at 11:00, where about 1,700 people lived before the war.

After the local post office was closed last week due to security concerns, a vehicle was sent on Tuesday to distribute pensions.

This barbaric attack on civilians raised fears that the vehicle's coordinates may have been leaked.

“This is not a military action – this is pure terrorism,”
said Valentin Filashkin, head of the Donetsk region.

According to him, all but one of the 24 victims were elderly people.

Filashkin urged locals to evacuate to safer areas of Ukraine amidst Putin's advance on new territories near the frontline in the disputed Donetsk region.

“We are helping the victims and establishing the exact consequences of this crime,”
he added.

Response from the President of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and called for a response from the USA and Europe.

“Such Russian strikes cannot go without an appropriate response from the world,”
he stated. AP

Attacks on Kyiv

Meanwhile, numerous attacks have been recorded in Kyiv: on Sunday, 810 drones and 13 missiles were launched at the city, resulting in at least four deaths, including an infant.

Zelensky noted that the attacks caused damage across the country, including in the cities of Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, and Odesa.

“Such killings now, when genuine diplomacy could have begun long ago, are deliberate crimes and attempts to prolong the war,”
Zelensky wrote on social media after the attack. East2West

This horrific attack on civilians highlights the seriousness of the situation in Ukraine. Attacks on peaceful people, especially the elderly, provoke widespread concern and condemnation within the international community. In response to these actions, the world community must intensify efforts to ensure peace and security in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, President Zelensky is actively calling for international support, emphasizing the relevance and urgency of this issue for Ukraine and the entire region.
