Death of the leader of Russia's propaganda empire
According to The Sun: Worrying events are taking place in the Russian elite: 87-year-old Vyacheslav Leontyev, who controlled the Kremlin's propaganda apparatus for many years, has been added to the list of mysterious deaths.
Leontyev died after falling from the balcony of his apartment in Moscow, from a height of about 21 meters.

Leontyev was not just a veteran of the Soviet era. For decades, he led the newspaper "Pravda" — the main mouthpiece of the Communist Party, which became one of the most influential media structures of the USSR.
Even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he continued to work, not flaunting his wealth, which is believed to have remained after the party era.
“The window of falls continues... Leontyev fell from a window. He was found near his house on Molodogvardeyskaya Street,” wrote journalist Andrey Malgin, who knew Leontyev.
According to unconfirmed reports, Leontyev had health problems. His death fits into the alarming trend of accidental deaths among high-ranking officials in Russia, which has intensified since the onset of the war in Ukraine.
List of mysterious deaths among the elite
Last month, the body of former head of transportation in Saint Petersburg, Alexander Fedotov, was discovered in Moscow. He died under unclear circumstances in a hotel.
Among other mysterious cases are the fall from the window of oligarch Ravil Maganov and the deaths of other high-ranking officials who openly opposed Putin's policies.
In March 2024, Vice President of Lukoil Vitaly Robertus was shot dead, and in July of this year, Vice President of Transneft Andrey Badalov died after falling from his elite residence. This is just a part of the wartime toll among the elite, which found itself under the pressure of Putin's regime.

Amid these events, mysterious deaths among politicians and entrepreneurs raise questions about the safety of the Russian elite in conditions of military conflicts. The lack of answers to these tragedies raises concerns and speculations about the future in the country.
