Russia received an order to seize Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and Huliaipole by February.
According to ТСН: The occupiers have received a new deadline for capturing Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and Huliaipole. They must complete the task by February.
Increase in combat engagements
This was reported by military analyst, reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hetman on the Radio NV broadcast.
“We are already seeing an increase in the number of combat engagements. Already now, more than 200 per day. This is because the Russians received orders from their president that they must seize by February; there is a plan - to seize Pokrovsk, to seize Myrnohrad, to seize Huliaipole,” said Hetman.
Impact of winter weather
The expert noted that winter conditions will affect the situation at the front, but this is only one of the factors. In frost conditions, carrying out active operations is very difficult.
Operational situation
Recall that the analytical project DeepState previously reported the occupation of Andriivka and Novomarkove by the Russians, as well as their advance near Maiske. However, later the military refuted this information, confirming the Armed Forces of Ukraine's control over Andriivka.
The most intense fighting is taking place in the areas of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, while Russian troops are preparing for further offensive actions on Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk.
The situation at the front remains tense. As seen, with February approaching, the occupiers are intensifying pressure and focusing on key settlements. This indicates their intentions to linger in these regions, which may lead to new escalations of hostilities.
