US President Donald Trump stated during a phone call that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin still demands Ukraine to renounce control over Donbas. According to the American leader, the final decision lies with Kyiv, but Moscow's position remains unchanged.

Sources from the publication claim that during the phone call, Donald Trump shared the essence of the Kremlin's position with the Ukrainian side. He emphasized that Moscow has not abandoned its main demand - to force Kyiv to concede the Donbas territory.
Although the decision on what to do with the territory belongs to Ukraine, Putin still wants Kyiv to renounce control over the entire Donbas territory, Bloomberg's source noted.
Trump stressed that future negotiations will be difficult, as the Kremlin's demands have not changed since the beginning of the full-scale war. He added that it is Kyiv that has the final word in defining its territorial integrity.
