According to The Sun: The leaders of China, Russia, and North Korea united at the largest military parade in China. Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that the world soon faces a choice between 'peace and war', starting a new world order together with North Korea and Russia.
AFPAt the parade, which gathered 50,000 spectators, including 26 international leaders, China celebrated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. New laser systems, hypersonic nuclear missiles, friendly robots, and various modern drones were showcased, highlighting Beijing's military might.
Xi, smiling, walked alongside Kim and Putin, surrounded by other world leaders.
In Washington, U.S. President Donald Trump commented on this first meeting of the trio:
“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States of America.”
China's Military Power
The parade was a great opportunity to showcase China's military power. The main sensation was the Dongfeng-5C hypersonic missile, weighing 183 tons and capable of carrying up to 12 nuclear warheads.
“Today, mankind is faced with the choice of peace or war, dialogue or confrontation, win-win or zero-sum.”
In his speech, Xi assured that he would provide the 'right side of history' for the Chinese people. He also emphasized that the army has a mission to unify China, which is perceived as a hint towards a possible invasion of Taiwan.
The parade lasted about 70 minutes, concluding with the release of 80,000 doves of peace and colorful balloons.

Meanwhile, Trump reminded China of its obligations to the West, noting that the powerful military demonstration has already raised alarms in Washington.
The parade in China opened new chapters in international politics, strengthening alliances among countries with common interests. At the same time, tensions between the West and these states may escalate due to the demonstration of military power and new political initiatives. The further reaction of the international community to these events may significantly impact the global political situation in the near future.
